We're back

Because Husband signed a new contract and it looks like we won't have to either sell Pickle at auction or stuff him in a drawer instead of a crib, we decided that we needed to head to see his family for a bit.

(Yep, we chowed on some tasty American food....mmmmm mmmm good.)

And within 24 hours of feeling a bit more stable jobwise, we took off for a last minute Thanksgiving trip to California. It was eight days of West Coasting and just got back a few hours ago.

The week was busy and slightly disconnected and felt like a really long time.

But we're back now, after 20 hours of travel. And I'm tired, so more tomorrow...
